Hi

Some of you guys know me from the NKWF site, others might know me from http://conservationmatters.proboards.com/index.cgi? I need to get as many of the RSA’s (recreational sea anglers) to join a new conservation forum. By now you will have all heard about the Angling Trust in England. Well we are hoping to build a comparable organization for the Welsh Game, sea, and fresh water anglers.

Historically the RSA here in Wales has had no representation at all, so I am asking, let the CPWF be your voice for negotiations with WAG and the EA (Environmental agency)

When consultations (The only chance that you have to comment or have a say) are announced, how do you know about it? Just have a think about what’s coming up in the very near future. Do you know? If your answer is no, then you need to join the forum. I think it’s important to know what the authorities have planned for your hobby. Do you know What a MCZ or an MPA is? No!!! You will want to know when they try and stop you fishing in certain areas. Join the forum. http://cpwf.co.uk/home/

In the very near future the SFC’s (Sea fisheries Committees) both for north and south Wales are being disbanded. WAG is going to assume their responsibilities. (If it can)

At the moment the inshore fleet is allowed by law to lay nets right up to the beach. Also gill netters can to a large degree lay nets where they like, except in excluded areas.

I want WAG to stop both of these practices. It will need a change in policy, it will need your support. Do you want better fishing? JOIN THE FORUM IT’S FREE  http://cpwf.co.uk/home/
