seems the south and east coast are having great sport catching cod! i haven't cought a codling all winter! plenty of pin whiting and the odd flounder and thats it for me! | |||

Fished Llandudno n.Shore on 7th Feb, a few under size ones caught but nowt in size. One caught at Prestatyn by Colwyn Bay club at 3LB plus. Very poor otherwise. If they are up North and down South they must get here sometime...hopefully.... |

This is the fish mentioned above, caught by our shore section organiser Terry Jones in our club match at Prestatyn and weighing 03-15-00. ![]() Its only the second Codling weighed in all winter in our league matches, and Terry also had the other one weighing 03-03-08, from Llandudno North Shore in early November. --Last edited by headwyn on 2009-03-11 04:35:56 -- |
