well whats the likeli hood of me catching a double figure Cod off the shore again?
Have not done that for the best part of 3-4 years am I ever gonna do it again? I reckon unless you pitch on a deep water mark for mammoth sessions (like carping) it defo wont come that easy again.  
Any thoughts on where I could try in the future?

Having lived in the Llantwit Major area for many years I have caught most double figure Cod at stout Point at low tide right on the point around October time. I have also had them on the high but it is difficult to get them up the Cliffside. Roll on October.

  , hi Don good to hear from you, I have fished there many a time and to be honest my biggest Cod from there was a little over 8lb off the top of the cliff, great fun winding it in,not so great for my mate having to climb down to get it   .
Ogmores not the mecca it was sadly, the best fish I have managed over the years have all come from the Barry area, with a few going just over the magicle 10lb figure , cant see me repeating that any time soon mainly due toa lack of time and access to top baits and rising costs to do anything!
